alright so i have a level 17 R/D in Nightfall. Im still on Istan and I cant figure out how to get off. I dont have Factions or Prophecies and I have done every mission and most of the quests. No one in Consoulate Docks will give me the mission. How do I get to mainland? Please help.

1: without factions for Prophecies you can't go to either

2: do all the quests, certain quests unlock new ones

That is the mission overview, make sure you have gotten/completed all the quests to get to the Consulate Docks. Once you beat the Consulate Docks mission you will find yourself in Yohlon Haven.

check your primary quests. if you dont have one, figure out where you left off. just go back to last mission you know you did, and work your way forward until you find one you havent done.

If you are trying to get to the Elonian mainland where the Nightfall campaign continues (Kourna and Vabbi), look to make sure you have done all of the quests in Istan necessary to give you the mission at the docks to take you there. If you are trying to go to the Prophecies or Factions continents, see below.

Regardless of what missions you do, if you do not have Factions installed, you will never be able to go to the Factions continent (Cantha), and if you don't have Prophecies installed, you will never be able to go to the Prophecies continent (Tyria).

Whatever continent you want to go to after doing the appropriate missions, you will need the game installed that pertains to that continent.

Refer to Page 74 of your "Guild Wars Nightfall Manuscripts" book (with the picture of Warmarshal Varesh on the front), paragraph 2 under "Expanding the World."
